New Streaming Kit Arrives
We’re excited to take delivery of our new hardware streaming encoder after a long wait for stocks to reach the UK. Unlike most common streaming solutions at the moment, our new rig will allow us to use up to four of our full HD broadcast cameras, all encoded offline (to give a far higher quality output). It’s perfect for sports and business presentations, where production value and visual quality is of the utmost importance and using our broadcast cameras gives far greater scope to deliver an engaging visual presentation.
We’ll be giving all the gear a full shakedown during August ready for our streaming service to go fully live (pardon the pun) in September and with packages starting at an introductory rate of £450 + location costs for three cameras, a VT laptop (to play pre-recorded video packages) and an editor to run the whole show for you on site at your location, you can really stand apart from all those webcam junkies or Zoom addicts.
It’s also a great option for creating engaging and COVID safe content because of the potential for safe distancing with this type of production. We set everything up then retire to the edit position behind a perspex screen to mix your presentation or conversation live, ensuring everyone is kept apart. But because we’re using full HD broadcast cameras with lens options and relatively long throw zooms, we can close down the space on screen, making the presentation look completely normal.
Think group conversations, sports coverage (especially valuable during COVID times), magazine shows and product demos all streamed directly to Facebook or YouTube but also, we can stream into any video conferencing platform, like Zoom or Teams, making this a great facility to deliver a high quality remote presentation option for those critical business presentations.
We’ll be releasing more information and sample stream demos after the initial shakedown. In the meantime, we’re now taking provisional bookings for projects commencing October.
